Caroline Pisciuneri was an expert panellist at a Farm Writers Association luncheon and spoke on the challenges and opportunities of creating resilient supply chains. She was joined by two other expert panellists Heidi Bailey Powell, Pacific National and Garry Edwards, AAM Investment Group. The discussion focussed on the resilience of the industry in the face of COVID, extreme weather conditions, labour and skill shortages, transport challenges and the lack of essential arteries connecting east to west across Australia.
Caroline spoke passionately about Sydney Markets and in particular the resilience shown by those working in our industry to deliver quality fresh produce 24/7 regardless of the challenges we have had and still experience today.
