What it means to
be a member
When you join Freshmark, you become part of a statewide community of individuals and organisations, committed to creating a strong and resilient industry.
Full Membership
To become a full member, you must be a bona fide agent, merchant, exporter or distributor for or of a farm, orchard, or garden produce conducting business in New South Wales.
You can be an individual, partnership, company or an incorporated body that employs people.
Your rights:
- eligibility for election to the Board
- entitlement to vote
- attend Board meetings
- access to all our products and services
Associate Non-Retailer
Associate Members have the same rights, privileges and obligations as Full Members, except they cannot be:
- elected to the Board
- entitled to vote
- attend a Board meeting unless by invitation
Associate membership allows businesses the opportunity to show their support of the fresh produce industry. And, if you want to become more involved, you will always have the option to upgrade to a Full Membership.
Associate Retailer
To address the poor representation of greengrocers in New South Wales, Freshmark has created a new membership stream to help support the final link in our supply chain.
Associate Retail Members have the same rights, privileges and obligations as an Associate Non-Retailer, however, your membership entitles you to the national retailer program, “A Better Choice” (ABC).
A better choice! draws upon all the Chambers and central markets’ marketing resources and funding to increase exposure of independent greengrocers to consumers.
