HORTICULTURAL NETTING PROGRAM TRIAL TO OPEN IN NSW

The Australian Government’s Horticultural Netting Program trial is designed to assist horticulturalists to develop resilience and adapt to Australia’s changing climate.

Through the program, horticulturalists in NSW will be able to apply for a grant of up to 50% of eligible costs to purchase and install new protective netting, to a maximum of $100,000.

The program will open to applications from 10 am on Monday 24 October 2022.

Funding is limited and it’s expected that demand for the grant will be high, therefore it’s important that applications are lodged as soon as possible.


Who can access this grant?

To be eligible, applicants must:

· be a primary producer;

· draw at least 50% of gross income from the horticultural primary production enterprise;

· contribute a part of their labour to the horticultural primary production enterprise; and

· hold an active ABN Please refer to the program guidelines available on the RAA website for detailed eligibility criteria.
