Freshmark is very proud of long standing member Michael Simonetta from achieving the prestigious Hort Innovation Exporter of the Year 2022. Michael was amongst an incredible line up of industry greats that included:

• Lee Everest – Mulgowie Farming Group (QLD) and

Michael was recognised for his strong commitment to exporting, through a business model that builds on sustainable export capability and who has actively contributed to activities that will assist the industry to increase fresh produce exports.
“For over 40 years, Perfection Fresh has operated as a family business. Perfection Fresh has a long history in agriculture and — together with the Australian farming community — continues to grow the freshest, most flavoursome produce around. The Perfection Fresh Export team ships year-round, to supply in season produce to global markets. It exports seasonal fresh produce lines to the United States, Middle East, Asia and New Zealand. Additionally they can supply seasonal produce to the United Kingdom and Europe. Perfection Fresh became one of only a handful of Australian fresh produce distributors to be granted an Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) licence to export to New Zealand, which has some of the strictest biosecurity policies in the world.”
